Who can use Elotec EloCare?
EloCare is well-established in prisons and detention through our framework agreement with the Norwegian Prison and Probation Service and the Norwegian Police Directorate, while we have installations in 5 other countries in Europe. Several installations outside Europe are under development. EloCare is used in, among other things, prisons and detention, shipping, psychiatry, elderly care and animal welfare. We will also soon be ready with our MDR approval for hospitals and nursing homes.
EloCare is developed by Elotec in Norway and is based on radar technology that is capable of monitoring movements in a room, right down to movements in a person's chest. The system indicates when such movements deviate from set thresholds, and presents easy-to-understand information to personnel present. This allows for the detection of abnormal situations and the implementation of closer supervision and measures.
EloCare is based on patented technology (WO2022101390A2) which gives Elotec exclusive rights to use the patented method for contactless breath measurement using radar and signal processing. The patent is approved in over 20 countries.
