EloCare will also, in addition to operating independently, be able to interact with other wireless equipment regardless of manufacturer via Bluetooth (BLE). This provides, among other things, the possibility of connecting medical equipment and for controlling, for example, locking systems. This will increase efficiency, contribute to the secure transfer of information and reduce equipment complexity.

Collaboration and customers

EloCare is part of RespView, a research project in the Research Council's Pilot Health program, together with Østfold Hospital and Rennebu Municipality. The project develops a roof-mounted radar sensor that can measure breathing rate, continuously and automatically. The goal is to strengthen patient safety in hospitals and municipal health services by detecting early signs of deterioration.

In addition to research projects, we work closely with several psychiatric institutions, both nationally and internationally. In this way, we contribute to developing new knowledge about how contactless measurement can ensure everyday life in mental health care.
