EloCare is part of RespView, a research project in the Research Council's Pilot Health program, together with Østfold Hospital and Rennebu Municipality. The project develops a roof-mounted radar sensor that can measure breathing rate, continuously and automatically. The goal is to strengthen patient safety in hospitals and municipal health services by detecting early signs of deterioration.
In addition to research projects, we work closely with several psychiatric institutions, both nationally and internationally. In this way, we contribute to developing new knowledge about how contactless measurement can ensure everyday life in mental health care.
Imagine a day in which healthcare professionals don't have to run from room to room to check if everything is okay. EloCare monitors residents contactlessly and only notifies when needed. At the same time, the sensor functions as a BLE hub for medical equipment, ensuring automatic measurement and documentation - right into the systems you already use. The result is more time for care and a safer everyday life for both staff and patients.
